Hi guys, today i've something a bit sad to tell... i know i thought buying replica's... well today i've found all my dream dresses as a replica and i felt sad, they also sell the fabrics.. it's so bad! I know that people will buy it because it's the easy way, but if you really want something you should try to get it... not a crappy copy of it, thanks to Redtonic, who actually is an inspiration for me in Lolita, that works hard to get what she wants!Probably i will never have a Divine Cross from Moitie because it's to expensive for me, but if i like it i would buy the real deal. The easy way that i can go is to buy second hand or find some images that i can coordinate as a print for a dress or skirt and transform it as print and it can become really awesome, probably i will be inspired with Moitie stuff.. colors and concept... but i won't buy a replica of it -.-''

Well i think that you now know that almost every famous dress will have a replica, don't become part of this, it's bad for brands, people who takes Lolita seriously will not like it and it won't become ''THAT peace in your closet that it's special, because you worked hard to have it'' ... probably it will become another peace in your closet that it's pretty but it's just another one ^^

Well that conversation we had once was just my point of view, i believe in working hard for the things you claim to love, that is all. I do not want to ever impose my beliefs on others as the fact that everyone is different is what makes the world challenging.
ReplyDeleteAs for divine cross, if you will settle for the skirt i think you might be able to get one some day, the skirt sometimes goes for a reasonable amount. If you really just love the print you can buy that scarf, i own one and it was around 20 euros so if you want to re-use it on a skirt or something it would be interesting and you'd have the print anyway. Not sure why nobody thought about it. he. ^_^;
You'll love it, i think the print is stunning and very detailed. I really hope you can get your own but if you don't and you'd like to wear it some day, if you come to a meetup in my area and stay for a while you can just wear mine. Not sure if you're into gold prints but if you do.. its a date.
